The Lady Dragons’ 2007 volleyball season provided plenty of flash and flare. A 32-6 record, a share of the district title and a 19-1 late-season roll helped comprise a successful year.
Carroll junior Mary Louise "ML" Morrison and Grapevine junior Rose Whitehead are good friends, but get them talking about their girls basketball teams’ chances next year and the competitive juices start flowing.
Carroll’s second head-to-head matchup with top hockey team Marcus Red produced similar results: another good game, but Marcus once again came away with a win in overtime.

As he had done many times while donning a green and white football uniform for Carroll, quarterback Riley Dodge put on a show.
Carroll quarterback Kyle Padron is expected to continue the line of successful signal callers to come through the program. And he’s already the newest addition to the school’s tradition of quarterbacks who go on to play Division I college football.
The Carroll hockey team continues to enjoy an impressive summer, averaging 4.63 goals per game, while boasting the second-best offense and third-best defense in its division.
Though it could be nearly a year or more before a decision to provide improvements might be made, Carroll athletic leaders are well aware of the work needed for facilities.
