Aug. 1 - Bob Jones Nature Center, 355 E. Bob Jones Road, seeks volunteers ages 11-14 for the fall session of OAKs (Outdoor Action Kids). Deadline is Aug. 1. The session consists of eight Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., where volunteers help maintain the park, work with animals and assist visitors. Aug. 1 - Barnes & Noble Bookstore, 1430 Plaza Place, in Town Square will host a Breaking Dawn Party, to sell the fourth and final book in Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, at the stroke of midnight, when it officially goes on sale.
